Gas piping should be protected from movement, corrosion, fasteners, heat, and structural damage.
Final connections should remain accessible and should not kink, crush, overheat, or prevent appliance seating and anti-tip engagement.
Concealed piping should pass the locally required test before cover; final appliance leak and combustion checks remain licensed-trade work.
Future work should be able to locate and protect concealed gas piping.
Use only for projects with permitted fuel-gas cooking equipment after piping installation and required pressure testing but before concealment. Qualified licensed trades control gas work, purging, testing, activation, and appliance connection. Do not energize exposed work, open or test gas piping, pressure-test plumbing, operate incomplete appliances, enter unsafe framing or attics, or modify structure without authorization. Licensed trades and the AHJ control required tests and approvals.
