6 items to check

Inspection progress0 of 6
0%

Every appliance, hood, panel, trim kit, accessory, serial, finish, and recall status matches approval and is undamaged

Critical item

Delivered products should match the locked schedule and be eligible for safe installation and warranty service.

Level, support, anchorage, anti-tip engagement, door and drawer adjustment, ventilation gaps, panels, and removal clearances are correct

Critical item

Appliances should be stable, restrained where required, aligned, ventilated, and removable for service.

Electrical, gas, water, drainage, condensate, duct, shutoff, disconnect, connector, and leak-protection connections are complete and accessible

Critical item

Connections should match nameplates, listings, adopted requirements, and product instructions without leakage, kinks, heat, abrasion, or inaccessible isolation.

Dishwasher, refrigerator, icemaker, disposal, oven, cooktop, microwave, hood, lights, controls, alarms, and specialty equipment pass representative operation

Critical item

Commissioning should reveal leaks, drainage failure, fault codes, abnormal heat, noise, vibration, odor, control errors, or unsafe operation.

Smart accounts, Wi-Fi, time and temperature settings, water filters, ventilation use, cleaning, maintenance, and emergency shutoffs are transferred to the owner

The owner should control connected products and understand safe daily use and maintenance.

Permits and inspections, model and serial schedule, manuals, warranties, receipts, startup results, punch items, spare parts, cleanup, and final payment release are complete

Critical item

Final acceptance should preserve proof of compliant installation and unresolved corrections.

Use after appliances, hood, fixtures, cabinets, countertops, flooring, and utilities are complete but before final payment. Qualified trades must perform gas, electrical, combustion, refrigeration, pressure, and code-required tests; owner checks should remain within normal controls and visible conditions. Do not energize exposed work, open or test gas piping, pressure-test plumbing, operate incomplete appliances, enter unsafe framing or attics, or modify structure without authorization. Licensed trades and the AHJ control required tests and approvals.
