Critical item

Fence location and type should follow survey or owner direction, utility-locate information, easements, local requirements, permits, HOA rules, and approved pool-barrier details where relevant.

Posts, footings, rails, panels, and fasteners are stable and aligned

Post support, embedment or anchorage, spacing, rails, panels, fasteners, corrosion protection, and wind resistance should follow the approved system and site conditions.

Gates, latches, hinges, clearances, and safety functions operate correctly

Gates and hardware should remain supported, aligned, operable, secure, and compliant with mandatory barrier, accessibility, fire access, or egress requirements that apply.

Cut edges, finish, drainage, cleanup, and records are complete

The installation should leave protected cut ends, complete coatings or caps, stable grade transitions, unblocked drainage, repaired landscaping, removed debris, and documented materials and warranties.
