A project closeout checklist for reconciling the signed insulation and air-sealing scope with installed quantities and locations, confirming all safety, moisture, ventilation, electrical and combustion corrections, collecting permits and inspection approvals, product labels and installed certificates, blower-door or other verification results, before-and-after photographs, warranties and maintenance instructions, submitting utility, tax-credit or rebate documents accurately and holding final payment until deficiencies, exclusions and future monitoring responsibilities are written and accepted.

Performance depends on keeping vents, fans, alarms, roofs and moisture controls functional.

Use before final payment and incentive submission. Incentive eligibility and tax treatment change over time and should be verified with the current program or qualified adviser. Do not enter unsafe attics or crawlspaces, step between framing, disturb suspect vermiculite or other hazardous materials, cover exposed electrical hazards, block combustion air or vents, seal active moisture, or work near hot flues and recessed fixtures without required clearances and qualified review. Air sealing can change building pressures and combustion behavior.
