The window type, size, rating, glazing, operation, egress or fall-protection function where applicable, and replacement method should match approved requirements and the actual wall opening.
Sill support, shims, fasteners, frame anchorage, clearances, and adjustment should follow the window and wall-system instructions without bowing or racking the unit.
The installation should manage exterior water outward and connect the opening to the wall drainage and air-control layers using compatible materials and sequence.
The finished window should operate and lock normally, remain clean and undamaged, and include complete interior and exterior finishes, labels, warranty, and care information.
