Infraestructura de red
Cómo verificar
1. Check for ethernet drops in key rooms (office, living room, bedrooms, TV locations)
2. Verify cable type — Cat6 minimum recommended (Cat6a for future-proofing)
3. Check structured wiring panel location — should be accessible and ventilated
4. Test all ethernet connections — should achieve gigabit speed
5. Verify coax cable runs for TV/antenna if needed
6. Check Wi-Fi access point locations — should provide whole-home coverage
7. Verify conduit installed for future cable pulls (between floors, to exterior)
8. Check power outlet at structured wiring panel and AP locations
Problemas frecuentes
- No ethernet drops (Wi-Fi only is unreliable for some devices)
- Cat5 instead of Cat6 (limits speed)
- Structured wiring panel in inaccessible location
- No conduit for future upgrades (can't add cables later without opening walls)
- Poor Wi-Fi coverage in some areas
- No power at AP locations (can't install access points later)
